Searching for a new crime solving game? Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments is definitely a way to go.
Even if you are not a big fan of Sherlock Holmes as a character, the story is real easy to get sucked in to.
The game offers six cases filed with investigation and puzzle solving tasks that you need to complete to get to
the murderer. It's a game played in first or third person view that is easy played yet involves a lot of thinking.
As every good detective, you are equipped with a handy casebook that gets filled with more and more information
as you get further in the game, which is great in case you forgot something , or you have to stop playing the
game for a while and you need to remind yourself where you last were. In the game you constantly run in the
clues that you need to piece together in order to find out what happened or where to proceed next. If at any
point certain puzzles gets to challenging, you can use the skip button, which is a nice touch if you don't want
to lose a lot of time on some parts. After enough of clues gathered you finally get to decide who the prime suspect
is, and the guilty person.
You are also given a choice on what to do with the guilty, whether to condemn them or to set them free.
The choice is great since it gives the feeling of really participating in the story itself and not just playing
the game. After you're done you get to find out whether your choice was the right one or not. Don't worry, even
if you get it wrong you can still replay the ending choosing a different person without having to play the game from
the beginning. It's a pretty slow game yet at no point it gets boring. Even during the loading screens the game offers
you a possibility of doing deductions or glancing through the casebook wich is definitely a nice touch. While The landscape
graphics are pretty good yet nothing too fancy, the real detail was given to the faces of the characters. Is this a game full
